As the only elected governing board of a state university, the Board of Regents has a responsibility to raise the profile of public higher education. Higher education provides an undeniable benefit to the individual, but it is also a public good. For Colorado’s economy to thrive, there must be a vibrant system of higher education, providing skilled workers for existing businesses and research to fuel innovation.
I am proud to serve with the CU Board of Regents because the University of Colorado is an institution worth investing in. Because of your support, I will invest my time and talent over the next six years towards helping CU become more affordable, accountable and accessible.
Higher education should be affordable for all Coloradans. I will work to end
outrageous tuition increases and allocate our limited resources sustainably.
The University must be accountable to all Coloradans. I will bring
accountability and transparency to the CU Board of Regents.
Access to higher education is the key to unlocking opportunities for Colorado’s
citizens. I will work to ensure access to quality, public education for all Coloradans.
